Position Summary:

Manage financial planning for the jewelry merchandise department. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
  • Create and manage financial plans, including sales, gross margin, open to buy (OTB), and inventory
  • Reconcile OTB report weekly; communicate information to the vice president of merchandising and buyers
  • Direct, coordinate, and train replenishment analysts
  • Manage key item tracking (sales and inventory plan); initiate inventory changes to meet plan objectives and provide forecasts to buyers; meet with buyers and replenishment analysts once a period for a detailed review
  • Review Best Seller report and investigate store on-hand inventory; create action plan
  • Perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED plus 1 year replenishment analyst experience, or a combination of relevant education and experience
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass drug test
  • Accuracy/attention to detail
  • Ability to organize/prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
  • Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to continue education, as necessary

Desired Previous Job Experience:

  • Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure
  • Computer systems knowledge
  • Familiarity with financial systems
