eCommerce Customer Service Representative

Position Summary:

Maintain complete customer satisfaction with Fred Meyer Jewelers and Littman Jewelers. Role model and demonstrate the Company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of self and others.

Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Model "Customer 1st" behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
  • Answer and respond to customer phone calls and customer emails
  • Compile a summary report for the eCommerce Manager summarizing written and telephone customer comments, forward copies to appropriate executives and department supervisors
  • Manage appropriate customer follow-up, including corresponding with customers in response to inquiries and/or complaints and involving regional supervisors, as needed
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus 2 years' experience in the jewelry industry; or combination of relevant education and experience
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass drug test
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime on an occasional basis
  • Ability to work any shift
  • Ability to travel independently on a regular basis
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects
  • Familiarity with industrial engineering terms and processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
  • Ability to continue education as necessary
  • Accuracy/attention to detail
  • Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • 7,000 SPH ten-key
  • 60 WPM typing
  • Valid driver's license

Desired Previous Job Experience:

  • Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure
  • Proficient knowledge of financial statements and budgets
