The Fred Meyer Distribution Center is a proud member of the nation-wide Kroger Family of Companies. We are currently looking for Auditor/Cycle Counter to become a part of our Inventory Control in our Food Complex.

Position Summary:

Audit various job functions (order selection, splits, shipping, belts, and receiving) and perform physical inventory counts in the Distribution Center. Role model and demonstrate the Company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of self and others.

Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Model "Customer 1st" behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
  • Audit trailers
  • Audit all order fillers, randomly, each week
  • Audit shipping, receiving, and belts, randomly
  • Audit order filers working in order selection and/or splits
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Perform inventory responsibilities
  • Maintain individual, shift, and warehouse audit records
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass drug test
  • Ability to work weekends on a rare basis
  • Ability to work overtime on an occasional basis
  • Ability to work any shift
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Accuracy/attention to detail
  • Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects
  • Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker and high rise crane
  • Valid driver's license
  • Fred Meyer lift truck certification/license

Desired Previous Job Experience:

  • Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure
  • Auditing experience
