Position Summary

Assist the KSP Innovation Leader to identify opportunities and develop and implement solutions for Kroger Specialty Pharmacy (KSP) business functions. Support Kroger Health and KSP strategy by coordinating with cross functional teams within Kroger Specialty, Kroger Health and General Office (G.O.). Develop strategic solutions working collaboratively with stakeholders in support of our vision and mission. Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in the development of efficient enterprise-level business processes that improve and simplify work methods, deliver financial benefits, improve our patient's experience and associate's experience
  • Contribute to overall business planning processes, applying a current knowledge and future vision of business trends as related to the organization's competitive position
  • Coordinate the implementation of collaborative efforts with key stakeholders to achieve company objectives
  • Work with Finance to document the financial impact of improvements
  • Maintain relationships with vendors to research, test, develop, and/or implement solutions
  • Travel to other Specialty Pharmacy locations based on business need
  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements
  • Participate in variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Minimum Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years specialty pharmacy experience
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy Operations and processing software (for example, CPR+)
  • Strong communication; listening, speaking and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and demonstrated ability to work effectively within Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Desired Previous Experience/Education

  • Associate Degree
  • Demonstrated analytical, quantitative and organizational skills providing the ability to analyze performance metrics, identify trends and anomalies, and recommend needed improvements
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional teams toward completion of a business objective
  • Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to drive toward solutions
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills and ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team while creating a highly empowered organization
