Bilingual Supervisor, Pharmacy Support - English + M-F + Competitive Pay + Admin Experience REQUIRED

Position Summary

Perform duties to provide support and oversee the activities of the pharmacy support team in processing original prescriptions and researching information to complete patient file working within the guidelines on standard practice and procedures. Essential Job Functions

  • Provide support to pharmacist team and supervise the activities of the pharmacy support team
  • Receive/process original prescriptions, check images, dispense documents, file in compliance with policy and procedures as well as admin duties like reception, mail and assistance to visitors
  • Monitor/review work to ensure accuracy and evaluate compliance with quality and productivity expectations
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and provide periodic performance reports to management; provide guidance, training and improve skills involved in processing original prescriptions and researching missing patient information
  • Respond to escalated cases and provide resolution as a subject matter expert or track, manage and expedite cases that require additional support for resolution
  • Lead the team to track patient packages in CPR+, reconcile Courier Daily Packages and related reports; manage and expedite cases that require additional support for resolution
  • Implement and communicate department operating procedures, instructions, performance goals, metrics and service level agreements to improve efficiency, quality and adherence to compliance guidelines
  • Meet overall business performance expectations while delivering exceptional customer service
  • Assist pharmacist team with audits; conduct internet research for support activities
  • Interview, select, recommend hire, and train department associates
  • Provide mentoring and communicate performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of associates, both as a department and individually; evaluate performance and provide counseling, cross training, and coaching to associates
  • Implement customer service standards of excellence and ensure compliance; train associates in customer service techniques, cultivate environment of customer service orientation and evaluate effectiveness and assess satisfaction levels
  • Coordinate with leaders to identify management process improvement opportunities which can impact operations to optimize customer service ensuring expectations are met
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements
  • Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies

  • Minimum Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years office administration or related experience
  • Demonstrated excellence in listening, speaking, and writing skills with proven ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
  • Superior project management skills; able to initiate and move projects to successful conclusion where quality and timeliness are key
  • Proven skills in training/mentoring
  • Understanding of the value of customer service
  • Desired Previous Experience/Education

  • Any experience working with the support team at KSP
  • Any specialty pharmacy experience
  •
