CoE Procurement Operations Analyst - Travel & Expense

Position Summary:

Improve the quality, value, and efficiency of procurement systems and special programs (e.g. Procurement Card Program, Travel programs, etc.). Oversee the catalog management across all categories. Essential Job Functions:

  • Technology Management
  • Support leadership and help implement a roadmap to meet procurement’s system and data management goals and objectives
  • Maintain a data governance framework that meets data objectives for the organization
  • Implement policies and standards for management of data owned defined by governance team
  • Support the sourcing operations team in defining the best tools to be used for sourcing events
  • Work with analytics team and all areas of the business to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Supports management of systems and projects to achieve department/unit goals in accordance with Kroger’s policies and practices
  • Catalog Management
  • Support the Manager to develop and manage catalog items, pricing, discounts, vendor information, etc.
  • Ensure the catalog is up to date
  • Work actively with other functions of the organization as the development of the catalog across categories
  • Additional Support
  • Support other initiatives in the company that may affect organization’s performance and operations
  • Support talent development framework and proven experience in creating/maintaining training curriculum

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Management, Operations, Retail, CPG, or similar
  • 1 year of experience with eSourcing, catalog implementation and/or management
  • Ability to become a key point of contact for the team, speak to internal clients on a regular basis, develop and maintain long term relationship with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to proactively share insights and seek to understand how to continue to bring value to internal stakeholders
  • Ability to identify, quantify and effectively communicate business risks
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while delivering solid action-oriented results quickly
  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify, quantify and effectively leverage data to support business decisions, communicate opportunities and/or raise business risks
  • Ability to monitor compliance with established guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Vizio)
  • Ability to synthesize analysis into compelling oral and written communications and presentations

Desired Previous Job Experience/Education:

  • 1 year of experience in a data organization, clearly exposed and performing tasks within different data governance aspects
  • 1 year of data analysis experience including building SQL, queries, and common/standard use of data analysis tools
  • Strong understanding of use of data and data governance to drive additional Source-To-Pay Capabilities and catalog enablement
