Position Summary
Apply advanced knowledge and skills to analyze, problem solve, configure, test, deploy, and support production applications of various size and complexity. Responsible for data security and compliance, mentoring and coaching others, being a champion for continuous improvements in software practices, leading design and implementing new applications, and collaborating and building partnerships with cross functional teams. Essential Job Functions
Perform many tasks independently and communicate with appropriate teamsPartner with appropriate teams to deliver software solutions according to SDLC best practicesPartner with appropriate teams to expedite issue resolution within defined SLAsDocument the root cause of issues and implement improvements to prevent future recurrenceSupport and maintain applications utilizing required tools and technologiesProvide support for applications during business hours and off-hours (24 x 7) as requiredEnsure change control, support ticketing, and bug tracking processes are executed following defined standardsEstablish priorities for application modifications in collaboration with key business stakeholdersDevelop functional, design, and programming specifications for application enhancementsComplete estimates and work plans as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasksTest application bug fixes, enhancements, and new software releasesMay design, configure, code and unit test applications and utilities using SDLC best practicesEnsure security, compliance, and integrity of systems and dataAssist other personnel on assignments including mentoring or providing on-the-job training to other associatesMentor team members in software development principles, patterns, processes and practicesLead and participate in the design and implementation of large and/or architecturally significant applicationsChampion company standards and best practices. Work to continuously improve software delivery processes and practicesBuild partnerships across the application, business and infrastructure teamsMentor and coach the day-to-day work activities of other team membersMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED7+ years of experience in system analysis, design or programming and the associated development methodologiesAny experience with project planningAny prior experience with project planning with large size or large level complexity projectsProven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to all levels within the organizationAbility to interact well in a team environmentPassing score on a selected entry test for new hires (test selected based on project requirements)Desired Previous Experience/Education
5+ years of experience in an application systems analyst role Associate Degree in IS related field or comparable work experience in an Information Systems position or related business position Bachelor's Degree in IS related field or comparable work experience in an Information Systems position or related business position
