Enterprise Sourcing Business Process Excellence Analyst

Position Summary:

Support Business Process Excellence design and implementation efforts, including governance, operations, supplier management and finance. Manage day-to-day execution of program management initiatives, sourcing activities, procurement and analysis capabilities. Support cross-functional efforts to validate and refine data, identify risk factors and build contingency plans to optimize outcomes. Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify and implement “best-in-class” sourcing strategic initiatives, business processes and systems driving efficiency gains and overall business value
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and align with their expectations
  • Maintain a network of matrixed stakeholders, super-users and subject matter experts; collaborate across the company to harmonize solutions and achieve a high level of systems- and process-standardization
  • Support sourcing by recommending, applying and executing the proper technology
  • Provide analysis to Enterprise Sourcing teams; be proactive in conducting deeper analyses to identify causes, implications and possible solutions
  • Track and report supplier key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs) and supplier spend data
  • Develop, grow and implement the business process framework by creating materials, forms and presentations
  • Track, monitor and report performance metrics related to operations, quality, cost and customer service
  • Generate reporting for project tracking, purchase price variance and supplier performance
  • Document, analyze and understand market trends, industry structure, customers, competitors and technology
  • Process various system transactions, maintain system data, create supplier set-up and update supplier catalogs
  • Manage contractual milestone dates, financial terms, rebates, penalties, pricing, changes, expirations, correspondence, notification of renewals and production schedules
  • Perform master file maintenance; assist in creating and updating various system data elements
  • Support supplier relationships and assist in testing supplier connectivity, gaining supplier acceptance, enabling receipt of purchase orders, and submitting electronic shipping documents and invoices
  • Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:         

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or business management, or equivalent program management experience
  • 1 year of experience with change initiatives in a diverse company
  • Knowledge of sourcing practices, processes, and/or data management tools/software
  • Ability to prioritize numerous requests
  • Thorough knowledge/understanding of systems, procedures, technology and project life cycles
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to coach others using personal mastery of relevant business process/systems skill
  • 3 years of experience supporting change initiatives of growing complexity in a diverse company (pay level - 6)

Desired Previous Job Experience/Education:

  • Master’s degree or certified program/project manager
  • Process management or Quality Improvement Process skills
