Position Summary

Responsible for cultivating, developing, and managing the User Design function. Oversee the execution of the enterprise's collective user experiences. Serve as the principal design manager to create and deliver the strategic plan for all digital user experiences through their respective lifecycle(s) across various portfolios of capital, expense and incremental investment to rapidly evolve the Product Experience program. Create partnerships internally and externally, which includes senior executives to successfully execute eCommerce and industry best practices for customer and associate engagement and data platforms. Essential Job Functions

  • Cultivate, manage, and develop high performing user experience teams within an agile environment
  • Establish and communicate effective design processes for how the UX and UI team should collaborate cross-functionally for maximum effectiveness, delivering solutions
  • Review and provide feedback on the final implementation of user experiences
  • Collaborate with executives and translate their vision into action
  • Work collaboratively with Group Product Managers, Marketing, Digital Merchandising, Retail Operations, and Supply Chain to translate business requirements into meaningful digital experiences
  • Optimize team output by aligning team roles to initiatives and priorities as communicated by Digital leaders and other senior stakeholders
  • Work closely and collaboratively with executive leadership, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, and Technology teams to define the Digital strategy
  • Maintain accountability for department operating expense related to staffing, training, and travel
  • Assist executive leadership with meeting updates (i.e., meetings of board of directors, investors, and company events)
  • Understand and direct the implementation of key strategies into specific, ROI-driven deliverables
  • Assess and integrate capabilities of third-party partners into a seamless experience to customer engagement
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; completes performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
  • Travel to local campuses, such as the Landings, and to attend company meetings

  • Minimum Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in design or related field
  • 10+ years of experience as a UX professional
  • 5+ years of experience implementing loyalty, personalization and eCommerce strategies in B2B or B2C environments
  • Strong understanding of analytics, target measurement and online/offline channel engagement attribution models
  • Exceptional communication, account management, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to lead and innovate across teams and organizations
  • Demonstrated experience using strategy to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated track record of collaborating effectively with UX designers and technology partners
  • Desired Previous Experience/Education

  • Any experience in retail or related field
