Position Summary
Convert compensation strategies into compensation plans for all assigned lines of business. Partner with VP, Total Rewards and compensation lead to develop pay strategies for roles within assigned lines of business. Partner with HR business partner to implement pay strategies. Ensure compensation programs are administered in compliance with company policies, federal and state regulations or legislation, including wage and hour regulations, and data privacy and protection guidelines. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME), providing consultative business solutions for assigned lines of business. Demonstrates the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Essential Job Functions
Support the development and implementation of compensation plans to ensure market competitiveness for non-executive roles within assigned lines of businessWork with cross-functional teams and leadership to understand business goals and recommend/implement innovative approaches, policies and processes to effect continual improvements in compensation programsDirect the work of HR teams responsible for executing compensation plans across assigned lines of businessTranslate business priorities into implementable actions to achieve strategic goalsComplete gap analysis between current state and business requirements for future state and develop action plans in partnership with internal stakeholdersPartner with internal stakeholders to develop compensation structures for unique groups, including hourly associates represented by labor agreementsAnalyze market data and develop annual salary increase budgets by geography and partner with finance team to ensure appropriate accrualsCollaborate with Labor Relations COE to support wage related contract negotiationsAct as a consultant with client groups on compensation issues such as job evaluation, FLSA exemption reviews, compensation analyses, total compensation review, etc.Evaluate trends, market data, and benchmark surveys to ensure market competitiveness of incentive programs and salary bandsPartner across Compensation COE to develop the annual compensation plan and incentive payout processPartner with HRBPs to influence business leaders in compensation strategy, programs and issuesEnsure HRIS and Payroll systems accurately reflect wage schedules and scales for applicable labor agreementsManage experience credit process/guidelines and compensation schedules for assigned line of businessSupervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reportsTravel up to 25% to assigned lines of businessMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications
3+ years of total rewards, compensation administration experienceAny experience in Total Rewards role within a divisionAny experience in compensation administration in complex, multi-site organizationExcellent oral/written communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, especially with ExcelHighly analytical, ability to obtain large amounts of data and turn it into actionable insightsAbility to act with confidence as SME with division leadership in guiding strategies and administrationAbility to protect highly confidential and sensitive informationDesired Previous Experience/Education
