Develop, implement and maintain quality and test procedures, processes and best practices. Review requirements, perform risk analyses, develop test plans, design/develop manual & automated test scripts, execute tests, and perform script maintenance using specialized testing tools. Review and contribute to the development of project artifacts per Kroger Technology LT artifact approval matrix. Proactively monitor, identify and correct potential issues. Perform root cause analysis on failed scripts and implement corrective actions. Ensure adherence to Kroger Technology automation framework standards and roadmaps. Contribute on maintenance and improvements of test plans and test cases. Create, execute and analyze test results and maintain manual/automated test scripts per Kroger framework. Review unit test coverage, provide feedback, and avoid duplicating test efforts. Continuously analyze application test coverage and optimize performance. Report/document defects found during test cycles; participate in defect triage and prioritization sessions. Participate in root-cause analysis for defects; recommend process improvements based on lessons learned. Provide test services for support activities and work with release management to assure product release quality. Communicate timeframe status, including any potential risks/issues to the appropriate teams to ensure completion of all deliverables within schedule, budget and quality constraints. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. Roving employee - Duties may be located at any Kroger Co. office throughout U.S.
