Position Summary:

Lead a team of User Experience Designers and/or Associate User Experience Designers within a given domain. Responsible for owning a highly functional user experience that drives digital engagement & conversion. Drive product design initiatives, customer experience enhancements, and make strong individual contributions as needed. Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams consisting of Product Management, Engineering, Digital Marketing, Digital Merchandising and 84.51 to understand and identify areas of opportunity driven from online data, usability, market research, and user-center design principles. Essential Job Functions:

  • Partner with digital stakeholders and consumer insight to develop the customer experience strategy and vision while communicating to company officers and senior management
  • Provide leadership direction to direct and matrixed core team members, incorporating feedback from across all functions within the Digital Customer Program
  • Advocate for customers by providing strategic leadership based on user-centered design, user research, analytics and business goals
  • Communicate digital experience strategies across offices/external partners
  • Collaborate with Sr. Product Managers and Engineering Leads on direction for digital experiences
  • Oversee research efforts including interviews, surveys, usability tests to ensure designs are useful, usable and desirable for customers
  • Map the customer experience across channels and touch points to reveal needs, pain-points, business
  • Set standards for user journeys, heuristic evaluations, wireframes, prototypes and usability testing
  • Measure, improve and enable continuous delivery to production
  • Travel to work locations to attend company meetings
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in design or related field
  • 4 years’ experience as a UX professional
  • Highly analytical aptitude and proficient using data analysis
  • Exceptional communication, account management, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to lead and innovate across teams and organizations
  • Experience mentoring and growing other user experience professionals
  • Demonstrated experience using strategy to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated track record of collaborating effectively with user experience designers and technology partners
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead projects from concept to delivery and ongoing improvement
  • Advanced skill with design tools, such as Sketch, Keynote, Adobe CS, etc.

Desired Previous Job Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in B2B or B2C environments
  • 5 years’ experience implementing loyalty, personalization and ecommerce strategies
  • Experience on large scale projects with demonstrated ability to work across teams, gather and incorporate feedback from line of business, product management, development, and executive stakeholders
