Position Summary:

Responsible for greeting visitors, escorting guests to exhibits and answering general questions at the Turkey Hill Experience. Ensure visitors’ needs are met and they have an enjoyable “experience.” Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) and our Customer 1st strategy. Provide leadership that embodies our 7 Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure that guests stand in an orderly fashion before doors open and guests enter.
  • Ensure no one enters without a ticket.
  • Restock exhibits with supplies needed for day-to-day operations.
  • Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins and tables with merchandise.
  • Arrange merchandise displays to attract customers as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Ensures world-class service is provided to each and every visitor.
  • Must become familiar with all aspects of The Experience, including company history and facility layout.
  • Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
  • Support the development, implementation, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems.
  • Accountable to the Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must have a pleasant personality and neat appearance
  • Must be customer-service oriented and greet guests with excitement and enthusiasm
  • Must be able to assist guests with special needs
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and treat guests with respect
  • Must be able to work in crowded venues and handle multiple situations simultaneously
  • Ability to speak clearly and professionally in front of large groups of guests
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays and during special events
  • Must be a good listener in order to understand and respond to questions from guests

Desired Previous Job Experience:

  • Experience in hospitality or tourism
  • Experience in retail
